Wine competition
The Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2026 – Rosé Wine Session took place from 27 to 29 March in Italy. Valais wineries won 6 of the 8 Swiss medals, as well as 2 CMB Merit awards.
Valais stood out at the Concours Mondial du Merlot & Assemblages 2026 with a total of 36 medals: 1 Grand Gold, 22 Gold and 13 Silver. This edition was also marked by a historic first, with an all-Valais podium at the Prix Grand Maestro du Merlot.
The BioVino competition promotes organic wines from Switzerland and Liechtenstein and rewards producers, with a special focus on natural wines.
