About the winery

The Sinclair cellar, where the family work together from the vine to the cellar, was created in 1987, on the initiative of the two brothers, Claude and Bertrand Berclaz.

And it was in 1998 that Gilles Berclaz, son of Claude, took over the destiny of the cellar. Following his apprenticeship as a wine merchant, he obtained the Changins oenology diploma and pursued various winemaking courses in France, Germany and South Africa with great success.

He will be happy to meet you for a tasting where you can get to know his different wines, and he offers you various options when you make a booking.




Château de Villa

This is the largest wine cellar in Valais, with 650 select wines and the expertise of more than 110 of the canton’s winemakers.
