About the winery
Cécile and Rolf Lips began running the winery in 1990. Rolf handled the winemaking while Cécile took care of the vineyard, logistics and accounting.
The winery is now run by their daughter Aïda, a graduate of Changins University of Viticulture and Oenology, alongside her husband Ilan.
Cave Lips is passionate about its vineyard, which spans several hectares of land in a prime location. With a palette of 17 grape varieties, it offers a wide range of wines bearing the AOC Valais protected designation of origin.
One of the winery’s specialities is Vignac (registered trademark), a brandy that is aged in casks for at least eight years.
