Cave du Vieux Moulin - Vétroz

About the winery

Romain and Gladys Papilloud passed on their passion for this varied job, so rich in encounters, to their son Vincent (fourth generation), who joined them for his first harvest after training as a winegrower and wine merchant. In 2010, the construction of a new, more functional cellar for winemaking moved things forward and brought new ideas.

Vincent created his first "signature" wine in 2013, with a Merlot aged in barrels. Other novelties have followed : Gai Luron (rosé de saignée) and a Cabernet aged in barrels. Subsequently, the desire to showcase the emblematic grape variety of Vétroz resulted in two new Amignes. One following the traditional champagne method and a second a type of production called "orange" (skin-contact maceration in an amphora).
