About the winery

Since 1990, Niklaus Wittwer SA has been a subsidiary of Vennerhus Weine AG, a company proud to produce Valais wine. 

The vines are cultivated throughout the year by colleagues in Valais, according to specific instructions and under their supervision. Due to the small production volumes involved, the processed grapes are sent from Valais to the Vennerhus winery in Grosshöchstetten (Bern) – which already has vat rooms, cellars for barrel ageing and a bottling facility – and the young wines are tended to, aged, bottled and stored there.
