Cave du Lac - Elia Gabrieli - St-Léonard

About the winery

In April 2019, Elia Gabrieli took over the operation of the Lac cellar, located a few meters from the largest natural underground lake in Europe.

The vineyard of the cellar is mainly cultivated in St. Léonard and benefits from a climate that is very famous for its sunshine. His grape varieties, apart from Amigne which is located in Vétroz (his favourite place), flourish in the heart of Valais, on the most beautiful hillsides of the right bank of the Rhone.

Apart from his passion for wine and honey, Elia set out to discover the treasures of Valais and met Sandrine Follonier. Together they form an inseparable team and run the business with great dedication. In March 2020, Sandrine gave birth to little Louis, who now accompanies them on this great adventure.
