La Tornale - Chamoson

About the winery

Founded by Vincent Favre in the late 1950s, Cave La Tornale has flourished in Valais and beyond! Located in one of the finest winegrowing regions, their first plots of Fendant, Pinot Noir and Humagne Rouge have been complemented with new vines and grape varieties, planted with the utmost respect for the Chamoson terroir. The La Tornale estate groups eight hectares of vines between Chamoson and Ardon and buys ten hectares of grapes from its winegrowers.

Since 2005, La Tornale has also been cultivating a sumptuous estate called Clavoz, on terraces overlooking the town of Sion. In 2002, Jean-Daniel Favre took over his father’s La Tornale estate and continues to produce wines. Respect for the terroir and the authenticity of the grape variety are the hallmarks of La Tornale, guaranteeing lively, personalised wines, now and in the future.
