Domaine La Régalesse - Saillon

About the winery

A collaboration between the Dorsaz family and the Fäh family led to the creation of the Domaine La Régalesse in Saillon. The Domaine at La Régalesse was created by Henri Dorsaz senior and Otto and Thérèse Fäh (-Schuler)

The domaine was destinated for viticulture in 1292. The wine was made for the affluent people in the area. A régal was a designation for land belonging to the nobility at that time. This is the origin of the name La Régalesse, which has endured the ages to this day.

The Dorsaz family has been running Domaine La Régalesse for over 60 years, and they love the various wine cellars where our grapes have been transformed into top-notch wines.

First wines dedicated to the promotion of this vineyard will be created in 2020.
