Cave Raymond - Saillon

About the winery

Since 1984, Gérard Raymond has expanded, transformed and redesigned the family estate. Today, Jhonatan rents a 5-hectare estate with a high proportion of specialities from his father.

After obtaining his CFC in viticulture and his wine merchant diploma from the Châteauneuf Agricultural School in 2006, he tried his hand at organic farming in Miège, a model he follows today. He then worked in Salgesch as a cellar manager and quickly developed his entrepreneurial side. Little by little, he rented out plots of vines and in 2011 set up his own business.

In 2018, he took over the reins of the family business. Gérard is stepping down after more than 40 years on the estate.
