About the winery
L'Orpailleur is a story that began in 1999 in the family cellar, with a small bottling quota and a rented site at Saint-Léonard. In 2008, the construction of the wine cellar allowed them to develop. They finally had the resources to transform the grapes into exceptional wine.
As winemaker, Frédéric Dumoulin develops wines mainly from his own 27-hectare estate. He can thus ensure rigorous monitoring of each plot of vines. In the cellar, he welcomes the fruit of the land and helps it express itself.
L’Orpailleur has thus won numerous medals and conquered the hearts and minds of a loyal clientèle. This pioneering spirit is in their genes. They always look forward and endeavour to develop new techniques or new collaborations to continue to bring surprises.
