About the winery
In March 2018, Julien Fournier embarked on his own adventure. He knows that he has a unique opportunity to pursue his lifelong quest, the search for excellence, in close cooperation with grape producers of exemplary professionalism and thoroughness.
From Martigny-Croix to St. Léonard, including Charrat and Chamoson, the vineyards that supply their delicate grapes to Des Promesses cellar are heterogeneous, varied and all have their own characteristics that are perfectly suited to one or other of the grape varieties. This is one of the strengths of Des Promesses cellar: producing the right grape variety in the right place and worked by a winemaker who knows his terroir.
The efforts made in the vineyard contribute to winemaking that respects the environment; reasoned, thoughtful and above all always with the ultimate goal in mind : of producing great grapes which will then make superb wines.
