Cave d'Avou M.G. Giroud -

About the winery

La Cave d’Avou, a small family-run winery located in Muraz (Collombey/Valais), aims to be a place where passion, conviviality and professionalism come together – all essential ingredients in crafting quality wine from vineyard to bottle.

The estate can be likened to a multitude of confetti scattered across the map of the wine regions of French-speaking Switzerland, from Bex (Vaud) to Sion. A diversity of terroirs, all cultivated with care and respect.

The grape varieties range from the classics – yet oh so precious – Pinot Noir, Gamay, Johannisberg and Fendant to enchanting specialties such as Amigne, Roussanne, Marsanne, Petite Arvine, Diolinoir, Humagne and Syrah. From time to time, more unusual vintages are also offered, depending on available parcels, the inspiration of the moment and individual desires.
