Cave Caprice du Temps - Miège

About the winery

The Caprice du Temps estate was founded in 1980 by Hugues Clavien. In 1995, his son Léonard, a graduate in viticulture and oenology from the School of Viticulture and Oenology in Changins, devoted himself entirely to the estate.

The range of wines is quite large, with some 20 different wines, from traditional Fendant and Pinot Noir to complex blends in barrels, and authentic and less common wines such as Humagne Blanc or Païen.

Clients are welcomed at the pergola, situated near the cellar, or at the estate’s cosy tasting cellar.

Château de Villa

This is the largest wine cellar in Valais, with 650 select wines and the expertise of more than 110 of the canton’s winemakers.
