Cave Ardévaz - Famille Boven - St-Pierre-de-Clages

About the winery

More than 20 grape varieties are used here to produce 28 different wines, with prized specialties such as Johannisberg, Petite Arvine, Païen, Merlot and Syrah ensuring the winery’s renown.

The family has passed on its passion for wine from one generation to the next, with the third generation now fully involved in the business and building on the foundation laid by Henri and Michel Bonvin.

As part of the handover, Rachel Boven is coaching and instructing her children in the running of the business. Her son, John Boven, works closely at the winery with Rodolphe Roux during the harvest, and spends the rest of the year promoting sales and maintaining business relations. His sister, Céline, takes care of the administrative side of the business, including accounting, payroll, invoicing and secretarial work. Brothers Michael and Jérôme help out with the day-to-day running of the winery in addition to pursuing their own careers.
