About the winery
"Garage wines" might not always be perfect, but they never go out of fashion. Too small to fail: no salespeople, no fleets of vans and no Master’s degree in oenology. A micro-winery with a love for family, small casks and minimal intervention.
Now, it is up to Romeo and Sandro Caldelari, Alice and Aldo’s sons, to carry the legacy of 100 years of winemaking on their shoulders. Even as children, they spent most Wednesday afternoons, weekends and holidays in the vineyard – not always out of their own conviction, but always with enough sun cream.
In 2013, they started to produce their own wines. Wundärland makes lively, blended wines that are intimately bound to a landscape where everything depends on the weather.
