Domaines Rouvinez - Sierre
About the winery
Domaines Rouvinez is a family business founded in 1947 by Bernard Rouvinez, an independent winemaker, and developed by his two sons, Jean Bernard & Dominique.
The philosophy of Domaines Rouvinez has always been to focus on the production of top-of-the-range wines. They give pride of place to local specialities such as Petite Arvine and Cornalin.
Today, Jean-Bernard's 3 children, Véronique, Frédéric and Philippe, continue the family tradition.
With over 50 hectares cultivated according to organic viticulture specifications, the Rouvinez family is the largest producer of organic wines in Switzerland. The development of wine tourism is also one of the family's priorities,
In 2019, Domaines Rouvinez will release Nez Noir, an organic red blend whose history is intimately linked to the flock of Nez Noir sheep from the Upper Valais that graze each year in the family's organic vineyards. The Rouvinez family now owns some of these sheep.

NEZ Noir
Anxious to preserve their estates and constantly apply the most advanced cultivation methods, the Rouvinez family began the transition to organic viticulture several years ago. In 2019, they are launching NEZ NOIR, a name inspired by their flock of sheep of the same name.
