Pierre-Maurice Carruzzo & Fils - Chamoson

About the winery

A family business since 1979, Pierre-Maurice Carruzzo & Fils are happy to write new pages in the history of the cellar, to live from their passion and to put their heart and soul into their cuvées each year.

About twenty grape varieties are grown on the Chamoson estate. There are ancestral grape varieties, including Humagne Blanche, Petite Arvine, Humagne Rouge and Cornalin. Traditional grape varieties such as Chasselas, Pinot Noir and Gamay. You will also discover some original grape varieties such as Viognier, Malbec, Mourvèdre and Mondeuse. Their wines are produced with great respect for the terroir and the grape varieties. The majority of wines are aged in vats; some reds benefit from ageing in barrels.

In 2013, they were awarded the title of World Champion Merlot Producers; in 2021,they were honoured by the Étoile du Valais for their Petite Arvine 2019.
