About the winery
In 1984, Arthur and Andrea Leyscher decided to launch a small family business, but the initial premises soon became too small.
With the growing number of vines, they decided to build the current Weinkeller zum Leyscher winery in March 1988. In the same year, they were able to vinify their entire production of wine in the new winery for the first time.
They were thrilled when Pascal, their son, completed his apprenticeship as a wine technologist and joined the company in 2001. With a strong family collaboration in the vineyard and at the winery where they sample the wines together, Leyscher Weine has already received several national and international awards.
