Josef Glenz & Töchter - Salquenen

About the winery

The story begins with Félix Cina, their great-grandfather, who handed the winery down to his son-in-law, Henrich Glenz. In turn, he passed on his passion for the art of wine to his two sons, Herbert and Josef. When retirement came knocking at Heinrich’s door, it was only natural that his two sons took up the baton.

In 1984, concerned with modernising their equipment, they began the construction of a new winery at the current site on Gemmistrasse in Salgesch. Full of passion, the dynamic brothers remained at the helm of the company until 2006.

Not without a certain amount of surprise in a particularly masculine world, Josef’s three daughters took over in April 2006 and the new adventure of the Josef Glenz & Töchter era began. The three siblings are known for their dynamism, energy and innovative spirit. They run the company with an enterprising mindset full of passion.

The word "family" has a particularly significant meaning for them. Natacha, Tamara and Judith can always count on their family, whether it’s working in the vineyard, running events such as the Marche des cépages and Printemps du vin, organising raclettes for groups and much, much more.
