Cave Jean Maret - Anthony Baselgia - Fully

About the winery

From the cultivation of the grapes to their fermentation, from ripening to bottling, the owner, Anthony Baselgia, puts all his heart into the work to bring the necessary care to the development of his harvests.

This requires offering the wines the best ageing and growing conditions. When we think of Valais, what comes to mind are the exceptional climatic conditions. 300 days of sunshine per year give the grapes their aromas and allow the sugars to develop. Another key factor is the terroir. The soils of Fully are essentially composed of gneiss and granite. La Petite Arvine, Anthony Baselgia's favourite product, is wonderfully suited to this soil, which thus gives it its unique saline character.

Its 3 hectare vineyard is located on the Fully slopes, and its terraced vines, growing in direct sunlight, are supported and made accessible by the magnificent drystone walls which you can see while strolling in the vineyard.
