Imesch Vins - Sierre

About the winery

Maison Imesch was established in 1898 by Léopold Imesch and his wife Marie de Chastonay. They passed the business on to their son Henri, who in turn entrusted it to his daughter Marie-Hélène, who presided over the company for over 30 years.

The company's estates are located exclusively in the Sierre region, in the heart of the Rhône plain. The history of the estates is closely linked to the region of Sierre, nicknamed the City of the Sun. Indeed, the sun, the city's emblem, adorns the labels of their "Soleil d'Or" range.

These estates include old vines, some of which are over 50 years old and produce grapes of excellent quality.

In 2009, Maison Imesch relocated. Established since its foundation near Sierre's railway station, it inaugurates its new vinothèque on the western outskirts of the town.
