About the winery
Thanks to our passion and uncompromising quality standards, the GREGOR KUONEN Caveau de Salquenen winery has risen to become one of the finest winegrowing addresses in Switzerland over the past four decades. Numerous distinctions such as "best wine in its category" and more than 400 gold medals adorn our roll of honour.
Love for our vines is the foundation of our noble vintages. What's more, the south-facing slopes around Salquenen offer a favourable terroir, bathed in sunshine more than 300 days a year. The harvested grapes are vinified with passion, the know-how we've built up over the past 40 years, and plenty of patience, yielding more than 60 exquisite wines. We settle for nothing less than the best: noble creations that accompany our wine lovers through their finest moments.
In 2016, Patrick Revey succeeded Charles Kuonen and today runs the winery together with founding partner François Kuonen. His daughter Larissa Kuonen is our oenologist and is responsible for the quality of our wines.
