Etienne Bétrisey - Ayent

About the winery

The family family estate is run on the northern slopes of the Rhone Valley, a short distance upstream from Sion and at the foot of the municipality of Ayent, at an altitude of between 500m and 700m. Their cellar is developing apace, currently producing between 35,000 and 40,000 bottles a year.

The combination of a unique terroir and ideal exposure enable them to produce wines that are typical of their grape varieties and have a direct, fruity and elegant character. They are redolent of the sun, fresh air and robust character of Valais, as well as the frank and open nature of its inhabitants, known for their love of life and attachment to their land and its produce.
