About the winery
Erhard Mathier and Béatrice, his wife, have led the evolution of their family winery with ambition, dedication, and diligence for over 20 years, and there is no stopping them. Tobias, their son, has been at the helm since 2016, continuing the craft’s traditions with creativity and innovation.
His passion began at an early age. Even as a young boy, he preferred working in the winery to going to school. A qualified oenologist, his various roles as a manager and an administrator in the wine industry and his involvement in wine-related associations all contribute to his unique experience. These factors demonstrate his ability to look beyond the end of his nose. Managing a wine estate abroad and successfully achieving the PARKER distinction for several wines made his childhood dream a reality and deepened his passion for wine.
With his expertise, experience and vision, he and his team are committed to ensuring a prosperous future for the Erhard Mathier winery.
