Cave de l’Etat du Valais – Domaine du Grand Brûlé - Leytron
About the winery
Owned by the Canton of Valais since 1918, the Domaine du Grand Brûlé is ideally situated on the alluvial fan of the Losentze river, which joins the municipalities of Chamoson and Leytron.
Its 12 hectares of exceptional terroir benefit from an ideal, south-facing location, and are planted with a palette of 22 main grape varieties, of which 35% are indigenous ones, such as Petite Arvine and Cornalin.
This privileged situation produces expressive wines that marry subtle, nuanced notes with rich, complex aromas. To ensure the wines can be enjoyed to the fullest, they are matured according to Valais traditions and the artisanal knowledge of the estate’s winemakers and oenologists.
