About the winery
Des Landes cellar was created in 1987 by Ida and Onésime Balet. In 2007, their son, Gilles and his wife Huguette Balet took over officially.
It has been Gilles who has mainly dealt with the work of the vines and the production of all the wines from the start, after obtaining his diploma in viticulture and oenology at Changins in 1988, All these years, their main objective has been to produce wines of excellent quality that respect tradition, and this is carried out in a lovely family atmosphere.
The estate has more than 3.7 hectares of vines and extends across the municipalities from Sierre to Conthey, including plots in Ayent, Grimisuat, Sion and St. Léonard.
