About the winery
The Feuille Morte winery is a small family business with 3.2 hectares of vines. The estate covers some fifteen different plots on the Coteaux de Sierre, overlooking the Rhône Valley. Over the years, the soil of each plot has been analysed and the grape varieties have been adapted to each terroir.
The vine leaves, after working tirelessly under the sun’s rays to photosynthesise and develop the grapes’ rich flavour, are swept away by the wind once their invaluable mission has been accomplished. In their honour, Pascal and Jeannette Bonvin named their winery Feuille Morte (Dead Leaf).
