Cave d'Avou M.G. Giroud - Muraz

About the winery

A small family-run business, Cave d’Avou in Muraz (Collombey/Valais) is a place where passion, friendliness and professionalism come together – essential ingredients for producing a quality wine, from vine to bottle.

Their estate is like a patchwork of confetti spread over the winemaking regions of French-speaking Switzerland, from Lutry (Vaud) to Lentine (Savièse/Valais) – varied terroirs, cultivated with care and respect.

Their varieties range from the classic – yet so very precious – Pinot Noir, Gamay and Chasselas to the bewitching specialities of Amigne, Roussanne, Marsanne (as of 2023), Petite Arvine (as of 2023) and Syrah. From time to time, they offer more unique harvests based on the plots available, a moment of inspiration or the wishes of their customers!
