About the winery
Andreas and Cornelia Bolliger, who live in Stans, and Jean-François Frey, who lives in Triengen, have owned a vineyard together in Valais for over 18 years.
On the heights of Raron, high up on the slope, there is a large depression in the terrain (Rarnerkumme) where the vines enjoy a perfect microclimate thanks to the sheltered topography. Eight different grape varieties thrive on the 0.7-hectare vineyard.
The wines benefit from a longer ripening cycle, which is ideal for aromatic complexity and freshness. From the very beginning, they recognised that very good quality could be achieved in this location.
