Albert Mathier & Söhne - Salquenen

About the winery

In 1918, Albert Mathier laid the first stone in the wine history of the Mathier family and the red wine metropolis of Salquenen by founding his own winery. Hard pioneering work enabled them and their business to progress. Today, Amédée Mathier runs the business.

The vineyards of the Albert Mathier & Sons wine family are located in Salgesch and its surroundings, in the Sierre/Siders region (Miège, Ollon, Sierre) and Martigny (Domaine de Ravoire).

The cellar's best-known wines include Fendant Pirouette® and Pinot Noir Rhoneblut®.
