Vinotheque Imesch
Details
The Imesch company was founded in 1898 by Léopold Imesch and his wife Marie de Chastonay. They passed it on to their son, Henri, who entrusted it to his daughter, Marie-Hélène, who has run the company for over 30 years. Its history is closely linked to that of the “City of the Sun”. The emblem of the city, the blazing sun, adorns the labels of its “Soleil d’Or” range. The company’s estates are located exclusively in this region, at the heart of the Rhône Valley. The vineyards are home to old vines, some of which are over 50 years old and produce grapes of above-average quality.
In 2009, the Imesch company moved. Located near Sierre train station since it was founded, its new vinotheque opened up in the west of the city.
