Valais Wine Museum

Details

With their authentic character, their long tradition and their wide diversity of grape varieties, Valais wines are being increasingly recognised in Switzerland and internationally. From the vine to the glass, discover their secrets by exploring the Wine Museum and its Vineyard Trail.

The Wine Museum occupies two sites: one within the grounds of the Château de Villa in Sierre and the other in the wine village of Salgesch. In Sierre, temporary exhibitions present different aspects of the world of vines and wine. In Salgesch, a permanent exhibition called “Vines and wine in Valais, their story!” explores the Valais vine and wine heritage.

Opening times
Our exhibition areas are open from March to November. Wednesday to Friday, 2pm to 6pm Saturday and Sunday, 11am to 6pm

Guided tours upon request all year round.

The Vineyard Trail is accessible throughout the year.
