Cave Maurice Zufferey - Sierre
About the winery
In 1982, Maurice Zufferey took over the winery run by his uncle, Charles Caloz, one of the early figures in the effort to save the Cornalin grape variety in Valais, who imbued him with the same passion for authentic Valais winemaking. More recently, Maurice Zufferey has worked with Jacques Perrin to develop high-quality blended wines.
Adrien, Maurice’s son, joined the family estate in 2016 after graduating from Changins School of Viticulture and Oenology. Equally passionate about wine, he injects new ideas, such as the Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine.
