Cave Mandolé - Saillon

About the winery

The Mandolé cellar is a place of passion. Passion for nature, for the vine and for local wines. A passion passed on by their father, Noël, who retired in 2020 after more than fifty years of activity and support.

Their business represents a little more than 6 hectares, planted with a dozen grape varieties, with plots distributed across the Saillon, Saxon and Fully municipalities. All of them are dotted with shrubs. With coronilla, fig trees and also almond trees of course – it is a place that bears the name of the almond tree, "mandolé", a word commandeered by our ancestors, hence the name of the cellar.

From pruning to harvesting and working the leaves, everything is done exclusively by hand. Tradition and technology come together in the cellar. They develop local wines of exception with passion and thoroughness. Wines of character, just like the canton of Valais.
