About the winery
Founded in 1968 by Jacques Germanier, an oenologist by profession, Cave du Tunnel, located in the heart of the Valais, has developed and grown in perfect harmony with its time and environment.
Today, the dynamic company is run by Sophie Germanier, Jacques' daughter, and is a pioneer in many areas of viticulture, particularly in the diversification and blending of noble Valais grape varieties. It has also made a name for itself with the creation of Brut du Valais AOC, a sparkling wine made in its tunnels using the true Champagne method.
