Cave du Rhodan - Mounir Weine - Salquenen

About the winery

In 2007, Olivier Mounir and Sandra, his wife, took over the company. Olivier trained at a winemaking school in Wädenswil and graduated as a master winemaker. Biodynamic wines are the order of business. Lesser-known in our part of the world, this ecofriendly winemaking method is meticulously followed in certain pilot plots at Cave du Rhodan.

Architecturally, the latest conversions and extensions bear the signature of the new winemaking family. The complete renovation of the cellar in 2018 was a significant milestone.

In 2022, Olivier Mounir from Cave du Rhodan was named Swiss Winery of the Year at the Grand Prix du Vin Suisse.

The third generation has taken over the company with great enthusiasm, ensuring that the "Mounir Weine" brand will continue to shine as a symbol of quality and close customer relations.
