Cave de l’Orlaya - Mathilde Roux - Fully

About the winery

Cave de l’Orlaya was founded in 2016, when Mathilde Roux took over the Gérard Roduit winery. She still runs the beautiful, eight-hectare vineyard.

Her first concern is producing wines of exceptional quality. This begins in the vineyard with meticulous work on the stunning hillsides of Fully – with the strict monitoring of yields, harvesting the grapes entirely by hand and managing them as respectfully as possible until they arrive at the winery, where the precise and careful work of expressing each variety continues.

Cave de l’Orlaya avoids marketing wines that are too young, allowing them to reach full maturity. In the vineyard, an organic approach is paired with biodynamic trials.
