Data Protection
Swiss Wine Valais only requests data that is strictly necessary and uses it solely for processing orders and making purchases as convenient as possible for already registered customers. Personal data is handled confidentially by Swiss Wine Valais in accordance with data protection legislation. Swiss Wine Valais does not share data with third parties. Your data will under no circumstances be used or sold for advertising unrelated to this website. However, we are obliged to cooperate in the event of a legal request. The most modern security technology is used to protect data against unauthorized use. No liability can be accepted for the security of data transmitted over the Internet. Data transmission occurs in an unencrypted form; however, sensitive data is transmitted automatically in encrypted form. The customer agrees that the Post may communicate the correct address if a postal delivery cannot be made to the provided address.
Prices / Payment
All prices are in Swiss Francs, including 8.1% VAT, and may be changed at any time without prior notice. The product price at the time of ordering from Swiss Wine Valais is binding for the invoice amount and is also printed on the order confirmation.
Ordered goods are paid for online at the time of ordering by MasterCard or VISA credit card, by Twint, or via PayPal.
Payment by credit card is processed as follows: the customer enters the credit card number and expiration date online on the Swiss Wine Valais website. The system then verifies and requests authorization from your respective credit card issuer.
Delivery Conditions
Delivery of goods to an address designated by the customer is carried out under the conditions stated at the time of ordering and under the customer’s responsibility. Short-term changes to the dates and times indicated by Swiss Wine Valais cannot be excluded, unless otherwise expressly agreed. The customer will be informed immediately of any delivery delay. A delivery delay never results in a price reduction. To deliver goods as quickly as possible, partial deliveries may be made at no additional cost to the customer. Shipments are made by Swiss Post.
As long as the goods are in stock, they are shipped within 1 to 3 days after ordering by economy or priority mail, according to the customer’s choice at checkout, to the address provided. If the goods are not in stock at the time of order, we will strive to obtain the fastest possible delivery.
If a delivery or service delay is due to an event beyond our control—such as labor disputes, unforeseen obstacles, or other circumstances for which we are not responsible—the deadline will be reasonably extended. If the delay is due to other reasons, the customer may grant an appropriate grace period in writing and threaten to withdraw from the delivery or service contract after its expiration. If the impossibility of delivery is due to the manufacturer’s or supplier’s incapacity, both Swiss Wine Valais and the customer may withdraw from the contract, provided the agreed delivery date has been exceeded by more than two months. In such a case, payments already made will be refunded to the customer by Swiss Wine Valais.
Claims for damages in the event of delay, impossibility, or delivery defects (including those leading to contract withdrawal) are excluded unless a legal representative of Swiss Wine Valais has acted deliberately or negligently.
Customs duties, delivery fees, VAT of the destination country, and any other possible taxes are the responsibility of our foreign customers.
Claims
Claims must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of receipt of the goods; otherwise, a request for free replacement is not possible. Exchanges are only possible in cases of incorrect delivery or manufacturing defects. In the event of a return, processing is only possible if the delivery note is included. Returns for products that do not meet your expectations are excluded.
