Visperterminen - Europe’s highest vineyard

About the vineryard

The post bus takes you to the start of the educational trail. Climb up to the St. Jodern cellar along the historic dry-stone walls of the Valais and listen to fascinating stories about the local wine culture. Once at the cellar, a tasting session will introduce you to the local wines, in particular Heida. These excellent nectars are naturally accompanied by culinary specialities.

After the tasting, the postbus takes you back to Visperterminen. Lunch and a walk along the Beitra irrigation channel, with its breathtaking views of the Bietschhorn and Matterhorn, are the perfect way to round off the day.
