Humagne en Fête

11th and 12th November 2022

Since 2006, a dozen Leytron winemakers have come together to dedicate this major event to celebrating the star of the vineyard: Humagne.

Tasting sessions and direct sales, a market selling local produce, music and children’s activities are on the programme.

A little history

In 1946, Leytron saw the very first bottle marketed under the name “Humagne rouge”. This grape variety is still the pride of the municipality’s winegrowers today.

The terroir of the canton’s seventh wine-producing municipality provides perfect conditions for many other grape varieties, both red and white (Pinot Noir, Syrah, Cornalin, Fendant, Johannisberg, Humagne blanc, etc.).
